Believed to be Scotland’s first traditional absinthe, Murmichan is crafted by Lost Loch Spirits using a classic combination of wormwood, green anise, fennel and star anise, enhanced with distinctly Scottish botanicals including heather flowers and bramble leaves. Bottled at a robust 64% ABV, it stays true to traditional absinthe while adding a uniquely Scottish twist.

Powerful yet beautifully balanced, it opens with vibrant herbal aromas, liquorice, fresh citrus and wild mountain herbs, leading to a rich palate of anise, wormwood, thyme and peppery spice. Add chilled water slowly to reveal the classic milky louche and unlock its full aromatic complexity.

A distinctive interpretation of the Green Fairy, Murmichan combines centuries-old absinthe tradition with the character of the Scottish Highlands.
