Paul\u2019s appointment is a key one to the team of specialist consultants at BRIM and will assist the development of a national talent pipeline to help meet the demand for quality, skilled, workplace-ready graduates into the UK security industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-di829\">Following the impact of spiralling cybercrime related to COVID-19 and lockdown on SMEs, demand has risen again for skilled workplace-ready graduates in the under-resourced cyber industry. With many <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brimcentre.com\/post\/big-brands-stepping-up-to-support-the-boards-of-national-cyber-resilience-centres\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">major companies engaging<\/a> with the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brimcentre.com\/network\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UK Cyber Resilience Centres Programme roll out<\/a>, highlighting their need for improved resilience across the supply chain, the delivery of the student services network to provide affordable services through this Home Office funded project has escalated in priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-8f056\">Paul will assist in development the of skills and supply of Student Services and work closely in partnership with Director of Programmes, Joanna Goddard and Director of Special Projects, Alan Greig on emerging partnership projects with nationwide organisations seeking technical support for cyber resilience through the network of Cyber Resilience Centres. This creates demand for the Trusted Partners associated with the Centres, ensuring end users can find trusted and quality providers for the Government\u2019s Cyber Essentials certification scheme, local to their region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-1qkkg\">A highly recognised technical consultant, working for international regulation bodies including the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), Paul is an experienced security company Director and former consultant to Her Majesty\u2019s Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-cque3\">A Chartered Engineer and former CLAS and CHECK Team, Paul is a specialist in Information Security Management Systems, Anti-Bribery, Asset Management, Supply Chain Security, and Business Continuity management systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-53kad\">His background as a OSINT and Dark Web trainer brings additional expertise to the talent pipeline that is of exceptional value to National Policing and the roll out of the Cyber Resilience Centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-2km5b\">Mandy Haeburn-Little, CEO at BRIM commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;I am absolutely delighted that Paul has decided to join us on this innovative and visionary cyber programme for National Policing.
